Yvonne is tired of seeing Jap Jap and more Jap.
For the first time, she values the cheena language. yes. (im not bluffing lahs)

lets talk abt school.

NUS is very different frm JC.
it requires the massive use of brains, strategy and time.
And its good to know that BALLOTING and BIDDING are the best of friends in NUS.
the creators of both of them are really intelligent.

You can possibly understand the above if you are currently in NUS. YUP.

Time table is quite retarded, but i guess i should take what i hae and just really make the best out of the worst. I have faith that nothing, NOTHING is impossible with God. Have been feeling pretty frustrated, irritated... and possibly the mix of feelings to go crazy, but really after talking to my dearest leader Shu Yi about it, I felt all of the above just fade away.

Pastor's sermon the other weekend jst really left such a deep impression in my heart. Most of the time, as we live each day and b exposed to people's view on us, we start to get infuenced -- most of the time negatively. Things like 'you are stupid', 'you shouldn't try so hard', 'you can't make it',,, and the list goes on... and the sad truth is, even though we know it is all false, but somehow this bad thoughts just start to fill our minds, occupying precious space in our brain bandwidth. We start to get upset at the way we are, at the way things just don't go your way, at all the failures.

But if we start to add the God factor in us, and start to push out all these negative thoughts and comments and put in faith, believe and good things, not only will we feel confidence seeping out, people will start to feel that there is something subtly different about you. You smile more often, your steps are no longer heavy, even though life still doesn't always go your way, but you know you can conquer it. I have seen too many times in my life such circumstances ad I know it feels horrible, cos I have been through it too...

Friends out there i you happen to stumble across this ulu blog, i assure you that when you start to look at your life and live it in a positive light, that is the time where you will see youself growing out of all the dismays, disappointments, emo periods in your life!

O- WEEK 08

finally orientation has come to an end. It was great having such an awesome og-- SCOOBY DOO, with happening ogls and councillors and also exciting og mates!

felt bad that i missed certain parts of the orientation, but yeahs, the days that i went were really enjoyable mans!!

i cant rmb the details of each day mans, so i'll cut short to the part where i stayed over in NUS!
yeahs, angela didn't stay, so only me and jun hui were there. at the finale whereby all the house ic-s went up to give their speech, i felt really touched. Somehow i was just reminded of the great great times i had when i was an ogl in mj, the friendships made, the madness we did and all the chit-chat and talking crap sessions, that period of my life was probably one of the most memorable ones i would say. so after that watched the video that Carol made, ate supper at some prata shop *the ice coffee was....GREAT GREAT GREAT.=D and that was prob one of the things that kept me awake till 6 am, whilst talking to jun hui . hahahahahahhaas. had girl talk with jasmine and kai qi too, but of cos they slept first and that left me and ah hui. Obviously we were super happy that we settled our bidding thingey and got our courses. YOu could have imagined how relieved we were after kana-ing outbidded for the most ulu-est courses. = ="

so we chit-chatted till the wee hours b4 deciding to rest our brains for rag day in like a few hours time. It wa cool seeing all the floats, all the faculties and the performances too. and after that i totally zonked out. i went peng on the bus sia. even when jolene left the bus, i didn't even say byes to her. oops. =x

so school is officially going to start on Monday and guess what the first lecture is.... ??? yes. its ECONOMICS. im rather excited to see the peeps on monday, but as for the lecture part, i guess its half half.

so i guess that agar agar sums up my orientation week. till then.

i am goin mad. this bidding thingey has the ability to make ppl jump for joy/frustration.

im optimistic that i will get my modules. i pray that this ends SOON. like now.
